Google has the Local Business Center. It’s free. And you need to be on it. Why? Google Maps is immensely popular. Google Maps utilizes the Local Business Center to publish local business results on Google Maps. If you haven’t noticed, map results have a very high visibility on Google’s Search Engine Results page.
Google essentially lets you have a full, free advertisement on Google Maps. To get started, go to http://www.google.com/local/add/splashPage?hl=en-US&gl=US and sign up. It’s really that easy!
